New Material of High Performance

  (1) High Performance Alloy Material

  Development Direction. Light-weight alloy materials: Focus on automobile and aerospace-applicable lightweight aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and titanium alloy, giving priority to aluminum alloy plate with high-strength, high-tenacity and excellent formability, large size forging, profiles, aluminum welding of large complex structure and lithium aluminum alloy; High-end rare earth permanent magnet alloy material: give priority to the development of praseodymium, rubidium, dysprosium, lanthanum, cerium, gadolinium and rare metal alloy material and N48-N53, UH, SH, EH series high-performance NdFeB products, focus on promoting innovative products of low-heavy rare earth, high-coercive force rare earth magnet, high corrosion-resistant sintered magnet, high magnetic rare earth permanent magnets, sintered NdFeB radiation multiple magnetic ring and rare earth alloy fast-cooling thick strip, etc.; electronic alloy materials: focus on development of electrified railway copper alloy contact wire material with high strength and high conductivity, and high-end copper alloy material of semiconductor with multiple pins and fine pitch; High-end medical alloy material: layout cardiovascular medical stent materials, artificial joints, spine and trauma with orthopedic medical implant material, gradually develop high-end medical alloy material of titanium, cobalt alloy, Ti-Ni shape memory alloy with high mechanical strength, fatigue resistance and good biocompatibility; high temperature alloy material: develop aerospace engine, powder high temperature alloy for gas turbine, titanium aluminum inter-metallic compound, nickel aluminum inter-metallic compound and oxide dispersion strengthened (ODS) high temperature alloy and other new type of high temperature alloy products to satisfy the demand of aerospace, electric power, machinery and metallurgy industries.

  Development Path. Making full use of the advantage of the existing industrial scale, focus on the high-end value-added products, promote industrial upgrading with improved technology to improve industrial chain and promote the development of cluster relying on the base of national-level high-performance metal new material in Hangzhou Bay New Zone. At the same time, aim at development frontier of industry, closely track the domestic leading research institutions and focus on cultivating industry development by layout of industrialization projects.

  (2) Rare Earth Environmental Protection Material with High-performance

  Development Direction. Rare earth catalytic materials: Focus on developing products of automobile exhaust catalysis, rare earth catalysts for GWMC motorcycle exhaust gas purification, oxidation catalyst converter and ternary catalyst; rare earth hydrogen storage materials: focus on developing high-performance rare earth hydrogen storage materials of hydrogen storage alloy powder used in ni-mh batteries for hybrid cars, high-capacity hydrogen storage device, electronic sensors and other products.

  Development Path. Giving full play to the advantages of earth trade enterprises in Hangzhou Bay New Area and rely on the NdFeb magnetic material industry agglomeration, insist on function improvement and promote the completion of industrial system, promote the development of rare earth association industrial concentration and build regional industry brand.

  (3) High-end Metal Matrix Composites

  Development Direction. Focus on SiC particles reinforced, carbon fiber reinforced and carbon nanotubes reinforced aluminum, titanium, magnesium matrix composite and metal layered composite and foam metal composite materials etc.

  Development Path. focus on the development of consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, medical material with metal matrix composites with the advantage of metal alloy materials in Hangzhou Bay New zone. accelerate the introduction of global leading enterprises, promote the industrialization of technological achievements, create industry chain of upstream metal raw materials- high performance metal alloys-high end metal composite material and promote the industry cluster and coordinated development.

  (4) Biological Macromolecule Material

  Development Direction. Focus on the development of three biological macromolecule material of polylactic acid (PLA), poly butylenes succinate (PBS) and poly hydroxy fatty acid ester (PHA), actively introduce industrialization projects such as poly propylene benzene dimer acid ester (PTT), biological hot melt adhesive, biological no-aldehyde wood adhesive, biological epoxy resin, citric acid polyester material, polyamino acid, environment-friendly surfactants and green lubricating oil products.

  Development Path. To meet the new demand of green economy development, and give priority to national science and technology industrialization according to national strategic guidance and make great efforts to promote products and up-level of industry.
